Janette Hopper
Janette K. Hopper is presently the Art Department Chair at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is known for her drawings, prints, sumi ink, watercolor and oil paintings and performances. The works reflect her love of nature and of humankind. Her art has been purchased for public collections and included in juried exhibitions and one person shows regionally, nationally and internationally including exhibitions at The Lincoln Center in New York City; The Meridian International Center in Washington DC; The Frye Art Museum in Seattle, Washington; Fulbright Grant Exhibit in Copenhagen, Denmark, and multiple one person exhibits in Germany and France. She has been invited to present her work at the 2nd International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities to be held at Monash University Centre in Prato, Italy.
